§ 01What the app does
Workflow
Manual company enrichment
Open a HubSpot company record and click refresh on the Company Data Guys app card to pull current company data. The app uses the company's domain or name to find the right company profile, and uses an existing LinkedIn company URL on the record when one is available.
Writeback
Dedicated employee count property
The app writes
company_data_guys_linkedin_employee_count, labeled LinkedIn employee count, as a dedicated Company Data Guys property. It never overwrites HubSpot's default employee count field. Broader company-data fields are available through the Company Data Guys API today, and may be added as HubSpot writebacks in future versions.OAuth
Narrow OAuth scopes
The app requests company object read/write and company property schema read/write scopes, and nothing else. No contacts, deals, tickets, marketing email, lists, workflows, or sensitive scopes.

One Company Data Guys account
HubSpot OAuth connects the portal to a Company Data Guys account. You start with trial lookups and move to a paid Company Data Guys plan when you are ready. No private app tokens to copy and no second app to install.
